Banu
Banu is a Turkish Dutch dance leader who has been active since 2022, both in Turkey as well as in Europe, inspired to share the dances everywhere she is called to. She loves to travel and is always open to co-creation and activating new areas, concentrating in building bridges and communities, bringing people together. Passionate about sharing the Dances, as it has been part of her healing journey and has become an important part of her life, in which she combines her academic background with her cultural heritage, yogic path, healing work and shamanic background.
My Story
As a holistic therapist and coach, working with groups in ceremony and as a workshop facilitator in different areas within the spiritual spectrum, i have combined all these experiences and qualities within my role as a dance leader for the Dances of Universal Peace, working on deepening the experience and embodiment of these sacred body prayers. Toward inner peace, alignment, love, harmony, beauty and unity, toward the One.
